TECHNICAL DESCRIPTION:
The Thermo Scientific SlideMate AS is a standalone, automated slide labelling system used in clinical and research histopathology laboratories. The unit features a large integrated colour touchscreen interface on the front panel for user operation and programming. The Slide Delivery System (SDS) mounted on the top of the unit handles automated slide feeding and output. The system operates via thermal transfer printing technology, enabling direct, durable labelling onto frosted-end glass slides. The unit stands on a dedicated aluminium base/foot with integrated cable management. Connectivity ports visible on the rear panel include USB, Ethernet (RJ45), and power input, as well as a wireless antenna connector (SMA type), indicating Wi-Fi or network connectivity capability.
