Automated continuous-monitoring blood culture and sterility testing system with a capacity of 60 culture bottles.
The BacT/ALERT 3D 60 is a fully automated microbial detection platform based on non-invasive colorimetric CO₂ sensor technology. Each bottle position is equipped with a reflectometric sensor that continuously monitors CO₂ production as an indicator of microbial growth, without puncturing or opening the culture bottle. Readings are performed every 10 minutes, 24 hours a day. The system integrates an incubation chamber maintaining temperature at 35–37 °C (±0.5 °C) and a continuous orbital agitation mechanism that accelerates growth kinetics. Compatible with the full range of bioMérieux BacT/ALERT culture media bottles (aerobic, anaerobic, pediatric, mycobacterial and sterility testing).
